 The Crisis Center’s Sexual Assault Services is the certified rape crisis center for Hillsborough County. If you’re a victim of sexual assault/rape, contact our Sexual Assault Services team for support and assistance by dialing 211 (24/7) or (813) 264-9961. 

Tampa Bay Thrives is a nonprofit with a mission of mobilizing the community to strengthen behavioral health outcomes for depression, anxiety, and substance use disorder, with a focus on improving early intervention, access, and awareness.

Tampa Bay Thrives launched the "Let's Talk" support line, which provides free, confidential mental health support through 24/7 access to counselors on the phone. To speak to someone any time, call 844-YOU-OKAY (968-6529).

 SAMHSA's National Helpline, 1-800-662-HELP (4357), is a confidential, free, 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year information service, in English and Spanish, for individuals and family members facing mental and/or substance use disorders. The service provides referrals to local treatment facilities, support groups, and community-based organizations. Residents can also send their zip code via text message to 435748 (HELP4U) to find help nearby. 

 Hillsborough County Public Schools.  Hillsborough County Public Schools offers various resources to its students to ensure ongoing support designed to meet their evolving needs. Services are targeted to meet students' academic, physical, and social-emotional needs. The programs connect students and families to a vast array of community agencies and resources. From the mental health team that collaborates with its student services staff to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral health to the Social Emotional Learning department that helps students develop healthy identities and manage emotions while achieving personal and collective goals, HCPS makes mental health a priority for its students.  

 ACTS has been serving Florida communities since 1978, providing individualized behavioral health services in substance abuse and mental health. ACTS is one of the largest and most comprehensive community behavioral health organizations in the Tampa Bay area, offering a continuum of services and best practices to individuals and families in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient detox, residential rehabilitation, outpatient treatment, supported housing, and recovery support services. Programs offer individualized, person-centered care and have specialized staff to meet the needs of veterans, the homeless, trauma-exposed, women, youth, families, and more.
